Three Campers at Dadeville Get Awards!
Campers at the Dadeville campus are enjoying their second day at camp, and it sure was a busy, fun filled day. I got to go to the Dadeville Campus for the first time today with Cathy.
While every camper did a wonderful job at all three activities three campers were awarded for their great achievements at each event…
We talked with the campers while they played putt putt, took a nice relaxing ride on the boat, and stood on the dock and patiently waited for fish to bite their hook. The low water levels on the lake made the dock almost seem like a land bridge but the campers did not let this keep them from fishing.
While every camper did a wonderful job at all three activities three campers were awarded for their great achievements at each event. These campers were picked by their counselor and each received a Camp ASCCA Achievement Award.
The first award that was given away was the achievement award for boating. This award went to Brad who enthusiastically gave out high fives on the way down to receive his award. He was so happy about boating he sang for the others the whole trip!
The next award that was handed out was the putt putt award and it was given to Jeanie.  Jeanie was given the putt putt award because she hit so many holes in one the counselors could not even count them all. Jeanie accepted her award to the cheers of her fellow campers.
The final award that was handed out was the fishing award. This award was given to Chad who was the ONLY camper to catch a fish that day! While picking up his award he demonstrated to the other campers how big of a fish he caught.
You can see how big Chad’s fish was and watch the award winners receive their awards on this video below!
