Camp ASCCA Veteran, Matthew Grafton

Matthew started coming to Camp ASCCA the summer of 2000. Matthew said that first summer he was a little nervous coming to camp but after he got here he knew he would never want to leave.

Matthew has made many lasting friendships over the years coming to camp and he says that he has gotten to do things here that he never dreamed he could. He said that his favorite activity is tubing and he was excited that he got to do that first thing this year.

Matthew also wanted to give a word of encouragement to some campers and families that are a little scared to come or let their children come. He said,  “Once you get here you eventually feel like you are home. Everyone is so loving that you feel like you belong here and everyone is your friend”
