The Brothers of Delta Sigma Phi – Zeta Chapter on the campus of UAB, are hosting a Hot-wing Eating Competition to raise money to pay for campers trips to Easter Seals Camp ASCCA. All of the proceeds will benefit Camp ASCCA campers.
The fundraiser is on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. on The Green at the UAB campus.
Each brother’s goal is to raise $250 worth of cash and/or merchandise. The brothers are recruiting alumni and noteworthy individuals in the community to participate in the event. Currently, 10 people and 200 wings are set!
Representatives from Camp ASCCA will attend.
The Fraternity Delta Sigma Phi, founded in 1899 at the college of the City of New York, has built upon its strong base of ideals and principals a life long brotherhood that begins in college, but does not end with it. The Zeta Chi Chapter has taken the meaning of brotherhood to a level unsurpassed on the campus of UAB. Delta Sig’s believe in the traditional southern gentleman, one who exemplifies strength (mental and physical), class, chivalry, and sophistication.
