This week, campers explored and had a blast at Camp ASCCA during this year’s MDA Summer Camp. The You So Pretty “Ms. MDA” contest, a ceremony honoring senior campers, and the carnival were some of many highlights that campers enjoyed. The theme for this year’s camp was “Boot Camp”, which is based on military attire and places.
At MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) camps throughout the nation, campers with neuromuscular disease discover a world created specifically for them, and meet many people sharing the same needs and experiences. They offer fun activities such as horseback riding, swimming, adaptive sports, arts and crafts, camp dances and much more. For more information on MDA camps, visit mda.org/summer-camp.
