This summer eight staff members signed up to raise campership funds for Camp ASCCA through their own personalized web pages! The goal was to raise at least $725 each through July and August. The funds raised will be used to provide a campership, or summer camp sponsorship, for a person with a disability that will attend summer camp next year.
The total raised was $3,716 and two summer staff members exceeded their goal! Victoria Dean raised a whopping $941 and Hayden Rizer $800. Full time staffer Amber Cotney also participated as well as summer staffers Jacque Underhill, George White, Kim Krubinski, Will Chappell, and Lauren Emery.
As an added surprise, we had two anonymous donations totaling $300 from a company that partners with the website, Network for Good, through whom we provide the personalized fundraising web pages.
Thank you to all who participated AND DONATED! Gifts from individuals such as these make summers at Camp ASCCA possible for many people with disabilities wishing to attend camp.
