Today, we offered a wide variety of free-choice activities, and one of the biggest hits was archery! Many campers came to give it a try and could participate as many times as they wished. Beth, a returning camper at Camp ASCCA, had the chance to shoot several times. She loved using the bow and arrow, and during her last turn, she hit the plastic deer we had set up! It was a heartwarming moment to witness, and she was incredibly excited.
Camp ASCCA is filled with memories like these every day. That’s why the campers enjoy free-choice activities; they get to decide where they want to go. Many wonderful memories are created during these activities, and we were fortunate to witness Beth’s archery accomplishment.
Seeing the campers support one another during these activities brings immense joy. The friendships and enthusiasm truly make the activities fun and create a great learning environment at Camp, making every moment memorable. Each day is an opportunity for new experiences, and we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
