At Camp ASCCA there are many things campers get to do, one of the most hands-on activities is the demo farm. As Bonus Session 0 kicked off their first full day of camp, we made our way to the demo farm after breakfast.
Campers eagerly walked in the barn and quickly heard noises from our most beloved animals. Our program staff did a great job bringing the animals out one by one so that our campers could hold and pet them. The demo farm includes goats, chickens, rabbits, donkeys, pigs, a sheep, and a horse. The campers first got to meet our sheep named Charles.
Our campers’ favorite animals today were the cow and the rabbits. One of the campers held a rabbit for the very first time! Even the counselors got to join in on the fun and hold animals. We love our demo farm at Camp ASCCA because this is an opportunity for our campers to meet farm animals up close, something they would not normally have the chance to do.
