A Festive Night to Wrap Up the Week

by Jackie Popper
Session Two

We had another great day of activities and fun today. A little rain and weather ended programs early for us this afternoon, but that left plenty of time to get ready for the dance!

Tonight’s evening program consited of a camp favorite, chicken fingers, and awards for the week called ASCCA Achievements. An award was given for each program run this week to the camper who really stood out for the whole week. We also gave out awards for best female and male camper, best first time camper, and best counselor and program staff.
Following the awards the dining hall underwent a quick set change to prepare a dance floor. Campers danced the night away at the Luau themed dance. To end the evening campers and staff gathered around to watch a slideshow from the week and end the night with one last “Good Night Song.”

It was a great week and we’re looking forward to next year.
