Wednesday night our Camp Administrator, John, and our Director of Marketing Communications, Dana, were invited to the Bessemer Elks Lodge. They held their first annual Poker Run for Camp ASCCA!
The Elks were generous enough to surprise us with a donation of $6,300 which was all raised from the event. The Alabama Elks have helped for many years. They have made personal, lodge, and state wide donations each year. Some even have fundraisers just for Camp ASCCA, like this one.
We are so happy and thankful for all that the Elks do, from donations to cookouts we couldn’t do what we do without them. We love groups like them who appreciate and support our mission of services to people with disabilities, especially in times like this year.
