It’s that time of year again when camp starts to slow down and we get a chance to rebuild and prepare for next year. This week the folks from Southeastern Pond Management came and limed our fishing pond. Pond liming is an essential step in neutralizing the acidity of water and soil with the goal of bringing your ponds pH level into a neutral state perfect for aquatic plants and animals. We are always trying to improve every activity area at camp, and this is just one more step to help our campers have the most enjoyable fishing experience possible.
