Each year, our staff goes through various sessions and activities that enable them to take a small look into a day in the life of our campers.
We in no way are under the impression that this provides us with a full understanding of living with a disability; however, we feel that in order to begin comprehension, we must first experience.
Today, our staff was able to spend time in wheelchair and meal training. Along with the appropriate techniques for each, we gained a lesson in humility.
We love our campers so much and are so thankful to be able to share time with them each summer to learn and grow with them!
Our first session is quickly approaching! The excitement is building and our staff is so anxious to meet our new campers!
