Our first full day of Session 6 was a blast, and I hope today can top it! Yesterday, the campers of Session 6 had a great time during rotations, but last night’s activities were the perfect way to end a fantastic day. Last night was just like a lot of Monday nights we have had in the past. The camp is split into two groups with one group going to pool and the other having another activity.
Last night’s special activity was Casino Night. During Casino Night, campers and their counselors work their way around around from table to table playing different games that you would see in the casino. Just as always the most popular game last night was the slot machine, where if you are lucky, you get to walk away with some chips. Every camper starts out with the same number of chips, and as they go table to table, they have the chance of winning more chips. It might seem easy to win chips sometimes, but it is just as easy to lose them.
It is important for all the campers to try and keep as many chips as they can throughout the night because at the end of the night, they can cash them in for some prizes. Campers can cash in at any time, but for those of them that wait, they have a higher chance of winning a lot. At the same time, they can lose it all. Last night was a lot of fun, and I can not wait for the other group to experience Casino Night.
