Session 5
The camp awoke to thunderstorms and heavy rain this morning instead of the usual clear, sunny sky. Because of this, we had to slightly alter our morning plans and not do program rotations. Instead, we had rotations of a different kind. We opened up the gym, Wii room and Arts & Crafts. For those looking for a more relaxing morning, we organized a huge game of bingo in the dining hall.
It was stormy until lunch, but as soon as rest period came, the sun came up and the clouds went away. This time our campers woke up to the weather they expected and the activities that they enjoy so much. It was even clear enough to continue our water activities like tubing, the water slide, splash pad, and boat rides. Though the morning wasn’t what we expected, the afternoon proved to be another great rotation of programs. Maybe it was the magic of Taco Tuesday that brought the sun back!
