Today Camp ASCCA was crawling with cowboys and Indians decked out in their Wednesday best. There were cowboy hats or Indian beads everywhere you looked- as there should have been! Everyone was dressed up to head over to tonight’s evening program of a Wild Wild West Casino Night.
Once campers came through the saloon doors, they were met with tables of blackjack, match the pair, high roller, roulette, and other casino games. With western-style music for ambiance, campers gambled away their chips. Some won big, others not so much, but every camper left with a prize. Sherriff’s rule: everyone’s a winner! Campers won items that ranged from football flags and apparel to stuffed animals or small knick knacks. It was a great way to continue our western-themed week.
