A wonderful and cool summer in the pool…

Cooling off in the water during summer camp is a fun (and sometimes important) part of the day. There are many ways to get wet in our program activities, but the most popular are the pool and the “splash pad” or aka, the accessible water playground.

As we head into the fall season and as the pool and splash pad usage winds down, we’d like to thank Trey Collier and his team at BackyardCity.com and BackyardCityPools.com for the generous donations this year.

Each year Trey donates a substantial amount of pool chemicals to keep the accessible pool and splash pad clean and healthy! Hours upon hours are spent in these areas and Trey has saved us lots of money that can be used for other needs in our budget! It’s thanks to people like him, people that understand our mission of serving children and adults with disabilities, who make for such a successful year!

Yes, summer is winding down, but please click on over to BackyardCity.com or BackyardCityPools.com to see what they have to offer. Or visit them on Facebook! They have grills, outdoor furniture, play sets, sheds, TVs, lighting and more! These things are all necessary for your outdoor football parties, right? So go ahead and support an organization that has supported our campers for many years. Thank you!
