Camp ASCCA hosted three accessible hunts this past winter, two Lakeshore Foundation weekends, and one of our own. The ASCCA hunt held January 20-22, 2012 was a success and camper Michael Bridwell got his first deer!
Thank you to the Tallapoosa County Alabama Farmer’s Federation for providing funds to prep and seed the fields and to Academy Sports & Outdoors, Auburn for providing the prizes.
Also very special thanks to the Tallapoosa Longbeards, a local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation for providing the volunteers and guides for our campers with disabilities. A great weekend was had by all!
