Tonight our campers from Teen Week and Sports Camp came together for an acoustic music night social. Following dinner, we all made our way to the chapel and settled in to get ready for our performers, Quillie and Richard from local band Route 66.
As we got ready for the show, popcorn and Kool-Aid was passed around while Quillie really “pulled our leg” and told us a story about how he almost didn’t make it to the show. Then the show got started and the crowd began singing along to “Nothin’ On You” by B.O.B. and Bruno Mars, “Love Yourself” by Justin Beiber, “Wagon Wheel” by Old Crow Medicine Show and “Take it Easy” by the Eagles.
We had so much fun relaxing and listening to the music by the lake.
