AHIF at Camp ASCCA

Session 7 is upon us! This is the last week of Camp ASCCA for the 2010 summer!

ASCCA is honored to have the AHIF, Alabama Head Injury Foundation, with us this week. They are staying in Lions Lodge, and although they will be self sustained for the most part, they will interact with ASCCA staff and campers daily!

They will be participating in all of our usual activities such as zip-line, waterslide, fishing, tubing, along with our many other programs. Everyone will also eat meals together; this leaves plenty of time for making new friends and reuniting with old friends!

We look forward to a great last week here at Camp ASCCA!

The AHIF mission is to improve the quality of life for people who have survived traumatic brain injuries and for their families.

The Alabama Head Injury Foundation (AHIF) was founded by professionals and families in 1983 to increase public awareness of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and to stimulate the development of supportive services. Today, AHIF is among the largest state brain injury associations in the nation with model programs and statewide services.
