Camp ASCCA’s Administrator John, and Director of Development Dana, had the opportunity to attend Alabama’s Elks Association’s 102st annual convention. This event was held on the weekend of June 8th in Decatur, AL. The Alabama Elks Trust officers, including the Trust President Gwen Parker, presented Camp ASCCA with their 2024 gift of $50,000 for capital projects.
The statewide Camp ASCCA Liaison for Elks, Mike Thrasher, updated the attendees with Camp ASCCA news. Mike is also a Camp ASCCA Board member and past Elks State President. Mike encouraged everyone to attend Elks Day at Camp ASCCA on August 3rd. We appreciate the State President Robert Norred and all the Elks for their countless years of support.
The Elks have been supporters of Camp ASCCA for many years and they still continue to blow us away with their generosity. If it wasn’t for them, we wouldn’t be able to serve some many people with disabilities. Thank you Elks!
