There’s no better way to end an ASCCA summer than a Thursday night talent show, and the Macon ARC group ended the week right. Last night as campers began to trickle into the Lions Lodge, the anticipation grew and the costumes were impressive. It was a night scheduled for performances to tunes by Elvis, Ronnie Millsap, Katy Perry, and more.
As soon as the clock struck 7:15 pm, the party began. There were many powerful moments as campers sang heartfelt songs about their loved ones and their fellow campers. However, the night was not just about individual performances.
Each cabin came prepared with a group performance and the lineup was unforgettable. Following along with the world’s recent focus, one cabin performed their very own series of Olympic events including everything from “Toe Touching” to “The Shoulder Roll.” The finale for the night was made up of a cabin of campers dressed up as clowns performing Meghan Trainor’s, “All About that Bass,” and the crowd could not help but join in.
We had a great week here at ASCCA, and you can see all of this week’s activities here!
