Allison Wetherbee, Camp ASCCA’s Director of Community Relations, travels the state weekly to spread the word about our mission of serving children and adults with disabilities in the camp environment. She visits civic and community organizations, churches, parent and children groups associated with people with disabilities, organizations that serve people with disabilities, businesses interested in learning more, and countless others!
Recently she had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Cherokee Lions Club in Tuscumbia and the Florence Kiwanis Club, both who gave generous contributions to Camp ASCCA’s Campership Fund. Many campers who wish to attend a summer session at Camp ASCCA need either partial or full financial support in paying the fee of $725. We appreciate groups like these who realize the importance of Camp ASCCA!
