Alpha Psi Rodeo once again supports people with disabilities!

This morning we had a great visit with three true gentlemen – three members representing the Alpha Psi Fraternity, Theta Chapter of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Each year Alpha Psi holds their annual fundraising event, the infamous Alpha Psi Rodeo! The fraternity claims the event to be “the largest single fundraising event conducted by students in Auburn.”

The members generously donated $2,500 to Camp ASCCA in 2012 and they were back today with an even more generous gift of $10,000. We are very appreciative and so are our campers. This gift will support our Campership Fund – which supports campers who cannot afford the full fee of $725 to attend a week of summer camp.

It is because of groups such as Alpha Psi that recognize the importance of our mission that many children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities will enjoy unique educational and recreational activities at Camp ASCCA! Thank you!

Camp ASCCA’s Camp Director Matt Rickman is shown in the photo above with John Mark Russell, 2015 Rodeo Chairman, Austin Patten, 2014 Rodeo Chairman, and Grady Cofield, Chapter President.

Please take a few minutes to watch the video below. It highlights the the organizations that the Alpha Psi Rodeo has contributed to, including Camp ASCCA.
