Session 3
Once again, rain caused us to alter our activities this morning, but it definitely didn’t stop us from having fun! Instead of our morning programs rotation, all the campers gathered in the gym to engage in some (healthy) competition. In the classic style of boys versus girls, the campers played the “Alphabet Game”, where campers had to spell out answers to trivia questions. They also played “Name That Song”, where campers had to identify a song that was played. A point was awarded for the artist of the song and the song title. When all was said and done, the boys and girls ended up pretty even in score.
It looked like we’d be in the gym until lunch time, but the sun came out just in time for the second round of programs to start. The rest of the afternoon was business as usual, but the evening program kicked things up a notch. Tonight’s activity was the Blob Hunt. Program staff members hid under sheets around camp and campers had to find out who was in the blob by asking three yes or no questions. As with all activities this week, the winning cabin gets points added to their honor cabin score.
It was a great day, even with the rain. Take a look at the pictures on our Flickr to see!
