Yesterday was a great day here at Camp ASCCA. The weather was nice, and everyone was in a good mood. I did not think anything could beat yesterday, until last night. Last night was the second time this summer that we had a musical guest come and perform in front of all of Camp ASCCA, and additional guests joined us for a night of music and tacos which was prepared by Alexander City’s very own Taco Bar.
Last night’s musical guest was Bobby Miller who covered Michael Jackson in the Ultimate King of Pop Tribute. Bobby did a fantastic job recreating a true Michael Jackson performance. He had the outfits, the look, and more importantly the vocals and dance moves. Bobby Miller as Michael Jackson brought the best out of everyone tonight. Everyone in attendance was singing and dancing along with all of Michael Jackson’s greatest hits. Bobby performed songs like: “Billie Jean”, “Beat It”, and a lot more. Bobby finished off his show by performing one of Michael Jackson’s greatest hits, “Thriller”.
One thing that made tonight so special is that we finally got to use the new stage here at Camp, Big Stage @ ASCCA. The venue was set up so nice with lights and the sound quality coming from the stage was outstanding. We would like to thank Bobby Miller and his team for coming to perform last night, and we wish them the best of luck as he starts his national tour later this week.
