As today’s closing activity, the ASCCA family gathered in the dining hall for a fun/intense game of Bingo. For the grand prize, one lucky camper would take home an official Camp ASCCA Inflatable Tube Man! All around the building, the tension was high. Despite this, everyone still managed to have fun.
Adventure Director Amber Cotney was the role of the announcer. With every set of letters and numbers she spoke, there was always at least one pair of campers and counselors cheering with excitement. When the winning number was said, the counselor would jump from his/her seat shouting “BINGO BINGO”. The winning campers each took home small prizes, including a teddy bear, a ruler, and a t-shirt.
At the very end, two campers were pitted against each other in a championship game for the inflatable tube man. Campers Brooke and Kristen, surrounded by their counselors and adoring fans, played very well. In the end, it was Kristen who one the grand finale. Paired with her friends, Madi and Simone, she hugged the tube man tight, as if she were celebrating her hard earned win with a friend.
