Camp ASCCA Public Relations Director, Allison Wetherbee, was contacted recently by George Littleton, a reporter for the ACDD Advocate. The Advocate is a quarterly magazine published by the Alabama Council for Developmental Disabilities.
The vision of the ACDD is: “The Alabama Council for Developmental Disabilities plans that all Alabamians, regardless of disability, will live, learn, work, and play in inclusive communities where the worth of every person is valued, individual needs are supported, and opportunities are barrier free.”
Camp ASCCA certainly supports the work of the ACDD and we appreciate their support as well with this great article. The ACDD website offers an online version of the Advocate magazine and the Camp ASCCA article can be seen in the Spring 2010 edition.
