Antonio played football for the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. He currently lives in Missouri and is a NFL free agent.
He said that ASCCA is and will always be home.
Antonio was a counselor the summers of 2008-2012 and we were so glad to have him back at Camp ASCCA today! As we walked from lunch we talked about how camp has changed physically through renovations, new activities etc. but that it still has that exciting and familiar feeling of being home with family.
I enjoyed getting to hear some of Antonio’s camp memories. I could listen to camp stories all day! He talked about how camper Cameron Tubbs would always put on a performance every time he heard music and about the time he realized his neighbor in Tuscaloosa, Bradley Smith was a camper at Camp ASCCA and how fun it was getting to spend time with him here. The stories are endless!
Antonio has enjoyed spending the day with old camp friends, while making new camp friends! It is impossible to come to camp and not make new friends.
“Camp ASCCA changed my life! It gave me a different perspective of how I looked at people.”
