B’Beth Weldon has returned to Camp ASCCA for her second summer!
SO FAR, she has visited for two sessions, Teen Week and this week for Camp Mobile Rotary. Campers have enjoyed painting with her and appreciate her unique talent and kind and encouraging manner. We look forward to having her back in the two weeks ahead as well!
According to her website, B’Beth’s Gifted Masterpieces program has “since 2010, raised awareness and provided inspiration to those with special needs: intellectually challenged as well as critically ill patients, their families, and support groups. The Gifted Masterpieces painting workshops were originally designed to give special needs children and their families the opportunity to paint with artist B’Beth Weldon; yet due to their success, the workshops have evolved and are now available to people of all ages with intellectual or physical challenges.” Please visit her website to find out more about her art and her special program.
