Our demo farm is an interactive rotation for campers to enjoy. Campers can feed, hold, and help groom all of our animals. This year at our farm, we have everything from chickens and turkeys to a sheep, goats, donkeys, a cow, and a horse…
Earlier this summer, Rachel Miller, a Tyson Foods representative, made a donation of enough Tyson chicken nuggets for our campers until the end of summer.
As Session 4 comes to a close we celebrated with a superhero and villain themed dance! Everyone dressed as their favorite superhero or villain. Some went all out in head to toe costumes while others just wore their superhero t-shirt. Being dressed as superheroes was something special, and we felt absolutely invincible!
Sometimes, hope is hard work. The men of the national fraternity Pi Kappa Phi can attest to that. The Ability Experience is a cross-country “Journey of Hope” across 32 states to raise money and awareness for those with disabilities.
Here at Camp ASCCA, we sing, we dance, and we party! Tonight was no exception, we ended our fun-filled Wednesday with a concert by Bonus
ASCCA achievements are awards given to campers each day at lunch. These achievements are a unique way for program staff to congratulate campers that excelled at their program. Campers work hard to earn these awards, and when they do their faces light up the whole room!
Tonight we ended our day with the weekly talent show! It was the best time ever, we even had snow cones as a sweet treat.
Today was our first full day of Session #4 and it could not have been any more fun! While our day was super busy we loved every minute of it. After breakfast Group 1 made their way to the zipline!
