Camp Frog 2016

“We don’t get to do things like this very often,” was a statement I heard from parents throughout the weekend as families visited with the Autism Society of Alabama for Camp Frog. Each year, families from around the state travel to Camp ASCCA to spend a weekend that is designed specifically for their children.

Drake Middle School Arrives for Day 2

It has been a hot, beautiful day here on the banks of Lake Martin, and today’s students from Drake Middle School had a ball. With the sun beating down, students were encouraged to drink water throughout the day and keep sunscreen on because no one wants to be sunburnt on their fun day away from the classroom.

Drake Middle School: Day 1

This morning several buses loaded down with middle school students arrived for an exciting day at Camp ASCCA. Each summer, Drake Middle School in Auburn spends a few days in September sending groups of students to camp for an enjoyable day trip away from school.
