“Wednesdays are for the boys!” That was the motto for tonight as the guys enjoyed having the dining hall all to themselves, while the girls were off doing their own thing. Other than Prom, this is also a night that campers look forward to throughout the week.
Boys’ Night began with wrestling championship videos provided by Outdoor Education Director Cody Graham. They did what boys do and hooped and hollered at every backbreaker, Nelson hold, Powerslam and more. As arms went up in the air and high fives were giving amongst pals while they cheered on their favorite wrestler, counselors passed out Root Beer Floats. They were without a doubt a camper favorite!
Next on the itinerary was a bonfire! Multi-colored strobelights reflected off the trees and music played in the background, really setting the scene for the ultimate Boys’ Night! Counselors gathered around with their campers as they posed for pictures and laughed and talked amongst friends. But it’s not a true Boys’ Night until you’ve pranked the girls, right?
As they headed back to their cabins, they made a detour and headed towards the girls cabins with hands loaded with toilet tissue ammunition! They had a blast “trashing” the girls cabins, leaving tissue paper all over the place for the girls to come back to, then proceeded to their clean cabins to sleep like babies.
This was just a way for everyone to return to their comfort zones and let loose a little bit, since a lot of things we do at Camp encourage them to get out of their comfot zones. We’re so glad everyone enjoyed themselves and can’t wait for Prom night! Stay tuned to for more Session 3 fun on Flickr,Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and right here on our website!
