Camp APAC, a service of Children’s Aid Society of Alabama, kicked off their summer camp yesterday afternoon! Camp APAC is made up of adopted children ages 9 to 18 and their siblings, both birth and foster living in the same household.
Children’s Aid Society of Alabama is a child and family service agency dedicated to building strong children, youth and families in Alabama since 1912. CAS serves many different people, youth in foster care, homeless young mothers, birth parents and families at risk to name a few.
CAS’s mission is changing lives, building families and strenghtening communities. A few things that CAS does are establish safe homes where families stay together, strengthen parenting skills and navigate the lifelong adoption journey.
This week at Camp APAC the children have the opportunity to participate in all of the activities that Camp ASCCA has to offer; ziplining, tubing, demo farm and many more.
