Happy Tuesday everyone! Today is the start of Camp APAC, where campers will enjoy four days of arts and crafts, swimming, outdoor games, Splash Pad, and plenty of exciting adventures. The camp kicks off with a swimming party and Camp ASCCA State Fair, where campers can enjoy a variety of carnival games, such as lawn bowling.
APAC, or Alabama Pre/Post Adoption Connections (APAC), is a collaborative program of Children’s Aid Society and Alabama DHR. The camp is for adopted children ages 9 to 18, along with their siblings (birth and foster siblings living in the same household). Children in permanent custody of DHR, with a plan of adoption by their current placement, can also attend the four-day camp. It will run from today to Friday, June 21st.
