This morning we got to spend time with some very important and special people to us here at camp, the Alabama Elks. The Elks are a major part of camp. They have been supporting Camp ASCCA for years. Without their constant support and dedicated service we would not be where we are today.
While the Elks were here this morning they took the opportunity to take tours around camp. This is always a favorite thing to do especially for new members because they get to see whom they are supporting and why we are so thankful that they choose to support Camp ASCCA.
I always tell our supporters that the smiles they see onour camper’s faces and the laughter they hear as they soar through the air at zipline or splash in the pool with their friends… is thanks to them because without their support we wouldn’t be able to make camp the fun and life changing place that it truly is.
The Alabama Elks Association, over the past two years has donated $100,000 to support our new arts & crafts/storm shelter.
