Summer camp is in full swing, but that isn’t stopping us from visiting different events and spreading the word about Camp ASCCA.
On July 10th our Director of Marketing Communications, Dana, attended the Assistive Technology Resource Expo, hosted by United Ability in Birmingham. In addition to Camp ASCCA information, there were 30+ technology vendors, food trucks, adaptive gaming demonstrations and more.
While there we ran into a couple familiar faces like, camper Kyle and one of his friends. Also there as a vendor was former camper Hank Poore! Hank was there to showcase his foundation, The Hank Poore Foundation. He is shown with former ASCCA employee Alex Dumais along with his wife Katie, who is with United Ability.
Special thank you to former Camp ASCCA summer staff member Elizabeth Stewart for inviting us!
