Camp ASCCA Summer Staff hears from Alabama Lifesaver

Alabama Lifesaver is the state of Alabama’s 24-hour air medical emergency request service for flights from hospital departments or pre-hospital scenes. It is a part of the trusted organization name Air Methods. Since 1980, they have developed over 300 bases of operation in 48 states. Air Methods is considered the most experienced air medical operator in the industry.

During orientation each summer, a crew from Alabama Lifesaver makes a trip to Camp ASCCA in order to explain the details of their operation and how they would handle emergency situations on site at camp. Check out what the crew had to share with the 2014 Camp ASCCA Summer Staff.
