This morning, Erica and I along with ASCCA’s Public Relations Director, Allison Wetherbee, had the honor of speaking on behalf of the camp and their relationship with United Way.
We were able to talk with both Kenny on the WAXC morning show, The Front Porch, and “Cubby” at 97.5 Kowaliga Country Radio about our experiences at ASCCA this summer.
Along with the basics of camp life we discussed the aid that United Way offers our organization and campers. United Way is one of many contributors of Camp ASCCA; they donate funds for “camperships.”
Camperships are scholarships that assist families with the financial aspects of camp life. Their donations are crucial to completing the camp experience for a lot of our campers and we appreciate it greatly!
