Session Five
Earlier this evening three buses of ASCCA Campers from Goodwill Easter Seals of the Gulf Coast in Mobile, who were sponsored by the Mobile Rotary Club, rolled into camp. We have over 100 campers this week, one of our biggest weeks yet!
A select number of Program Staff, Counselors and nurses left early yesterday afternoon and spent the night in Mobile to wake up in time for an early check-in this morning. By 7 o’clock our buses were headed over to the Goodwill Easter Seals to get ready for check-in. The buses departed from Mobile by about 1:00 getting us to camp right around 5:00 – just in time for dinner. After supper we split the campers in two groups; half went to the pool party and the other half went on an outlaw hunt.
If tonight’s festivities were any indication, this week is going to be another great one to add to this summer.
