Today at Camp ASCCA we had our very own camp talent show, everyone who signed up at lunch got to show off their special talents, and their special singing skills to the crowd. We had individual performances and several group performances as well. Each camper got to go up and sing a song of their choice and even do a little dance as well. From heartfelt campfire songs, to timeless classics camaraderie filled the air as campers were brought together in a celebration of creativity and courage. For many campers who were new to Camp ASCCA this year, this was a chance for them to step into a spotlight and receive praise from their supportive peers where everybody’s talent was met with thunderous applause and encouragement where they could celebrate with each other.
During the talent show we also got the chance to have shaved ice made and brought to us by our generous program staff. They made sure to make different flavors so that each person got what they wanted. Overall the talent show was a success and a great experience for each camper to get closer together and hangout somewhere that was not during activities, or the dining hall. As the day draws to a close, we look forward to tomorrow as we have more fun activities planned for us during our time here at Camp ASCCA.
