About 17 of our summer staff members from this past summer met at Longhorn’s in Birmingham on December 12, 2010. “Why” do you ask?
They were there to present Michael Oglesby the 2010 Camp ASCCA Camper of the Year award! Michael is loved by all who meet him.
The Camper of the Year is voted annually at the end of the summer sessions by the summer staff. Michael definintely stood out to most. Michael’s mom said he was surprised and really enjoyed seeing his camp friends again.
Michael was presented with a recognition plaque and will also attend the Camp ASCCA Christmas weekend in mid-December.
