Capture the Flag

Sports Camp

After an exciting afternoon filled with shooting sports our Sports Campers ended the day by playing an exciting game of capture the flag. This was no ordinary capture the flag, however, this game was played in the dark. Campers geared up with various glow sticks and bracelets and all black attire to prepare for this game.

This game was played in our gym with all of the doors shut and lights off, rendering the room nearly pitch-black. The only way to identify people was by the glow sticks hanging around their neck and tied into their shoe laces. Two versions of the game were played: one was traditional capture the flag, but in order to “tag” someone out you removed their glow stick bracelet on their foot. The second was a “last man standing” type game where teams played against each other and tried to steal each others’ bracelets. Both games were high energy and lots of fun.
