At the end of every summer, one staff member is presented with the Judy Williams Scholarship. This award is voted on by our leadership staff and they are awarded a $500 scholarship. It is given to a staff member who displays an unmatched work ethic, enthusiasm, contagious energy, and a great attitude.
Judy Williams is a donor, volunteer, friend, and former staff member who continues to serve and support Camp ASCCA in a variety of ways since the start of Camp in 1976. The scholarship was first given out in 2014.
The 2023 recipient is Emily Lamberson! This is Emily’s second year at Camp ASCCA and she has caught the attention of our staff and campers as well. She is compassionate, hard-working, patient, and always focused on her camper’s well-being.
Emily has served as a counselor the past two summers and puts all she has into this role. People like Emily not only make Camp ASCCA what it is, but makes the world a better place.
