At the end of every summer, a staff member is presented with the Judy Williams Scholarship Award! This award is determined by a vote from our leadership staff, including a $500 scholarship. It is presented to a staff member who exemplifies an exceptional work ethic, enthusiasm, contagious energy, and a positive attitude.
Judy Williams, a dedicated donor, volunteer, friend, and former staff member, has supported Camp ASCCA in various capacities since its founding in 1976. The scholarship named in her honor was first awarded in 2014.
We are so excited to announce that this year’s recipient is Jackson Blount! In his second year at Camp ASCCA, Jackson has impressed our staff and campers with his compassion, hard work, patience, and unwavering dedication to his camper’s well-being.
Over the past two summers, Jackson has served as a counselor, fully committing himself to the role. People like Jackson not only help make Camp ASCCA what it is but also make a positive impact on the world.
We are so proud of Jackson for his well-deserved recognition and know that wherever he goes he leaves an imprint on the people around him.
Jackson joins the list of Judy Williams Scholarship recipients, filled with incredible summer staff members. The recipients include Gordon Warner, Brett Gray, Christian Thomason, Matt Smith, Lance Chayka, Zach Rickman, Bryce Perrien, Elizabeth Bryson, and Emily Lamberson.
