With each ASCCA summer come lifechanging moments, unforgettable friendships, and a feeling that you have found your home. Heading into the office today, I could not help but think about the memories that will be made this year. We are officially 150 days away from the start of our first ASCCA summer session of 2017, and we are already in motion to prepare for everyone that will be attending this year.
Camper registration opened at the beginning of the year, and it is operating in high gear as parents and guardians are working quickly to ensure that there is a spot for their child this summer. We are also in the midst of summer staff interviews as college aged individuals from around the southeast have been aggressively applying, hoping to make it on staff this summer. All female counselor positions filled up fast, but we do still have a few program staff and male counselor positions available.
Our staff is working diligently to bring new events and activities to our campers this summer, and I can tell you that we have some big things in the works. We also mapped out what this year’s themes will look like for each week, and you can find your week here.
