This past weekend Camp Seale Harris held their annual Fall Family Weekend at Camp ASCCA. It was a busy weekend full of some of Camp’s best activities, and of course all things fall.
Upon the campers arrival on Friday evening they made their way to the ballfield, where they participated in “get to know you” games before heading to a campfire complete with s’mores.
Saturday began like any other Camp day, breakfast in the dining hall, and then off to morning activities. Morning rotations included archery, fishing, and the bungee trampoline. After lunch campers and their families had the opportunity to participate in free choice activities like putt-putt, boat rides, zipline, pumpkin decorating, and hanging out in the game room.
To wind down the day everyone put on their Halloween costumes and got ready for a Halloween carnival that took them all around the pavilion. They ended their night with a movie and hanging with the Camp Seale Harris counselors.
Before they knew it Sunday was here and it was time to part ways, but not before morning free choice activities. Campers chose between putt-putt, disc golf, canoeing, pickleball, and tennis.
Weekends at Camp always seem to fly by, but it makes the time spent together much more valuable. It was a great weekend, and we can’t wait to do it again.
