The BcK4t is one of the most special places here at Camp. The fun arcade games and delicious warm and buttery popcorn and crisp slushies definitely add to the appeal of the BcK4t however, the true magic happens on our concert evenings. The 502s brought the party to Camp ASCCA tonight and we will be living the dance party out in our memories forevermore. The energy of the band combined with their vivacious spirits and electric lyrical songs sparked a joy and desire to dance into everyone in the room.
This band had so much energy and a spirit of love that radiate through their smiles, music, and energy. “The 502s are a band of brothers whose sound has received critical acclaim as celebratory, wholesome, and utterly life affirming” (taken from the 502s website). They came to bring the party. Equipped with a banjo, guitars, saxophone, trumpet, drums, bass, and harmonious vocals, they ushered in the best celebration of love and wholesome fun.
One of their newer songs “Summer Wind” says “If life takes us separate ways, my love won’t change you’ll always be in my heart” The (502s). We could not have said it better ourselves! At the end of every week when campers and staff share in breakfast and pack up to head home we want to reiterate the words sang to us in one of our favorite places, you’ll always be in my heart, Camp ASCCA.
