To most people dirt is just dirt.
To a farmer it’s
Potential!”
Today during morning rotations campers got to meet Lizzie the donkey, Elsa the rabbit, our chickens, the goats and our mini horse Sebastian. They loved learning all their names and about their families, while getting to pet and feed them. I love getting to watch their reactions to all the animals. It is love at first sight!
Demo Farm fun didn’t stop with morning rotations, this afternoon campers had the choice to go to Demo Farm as a free-choice activity. This afternoons activity was a Garden project. In addition to taking care of the animals our program staff, Sarah Shaner also helps take care of ASCCA’s garden.
After making their fresh salsa we had a fiesta and enjoyed our creation!
