In honor of Camp ASCCA’s farm girl, Jessie, and her last week at camp, today’s blog is about the Demo Farm.
The Demo Farm is a favorite attraction for many of the campers who love animals. The Demo Farm is home to several different types of animals like goats, donkeys, pigs, chickens, ducks, and rabbits.
Jessie teaches the campers facts about all the different animals at the farm, but one of the best things about Demo Farm is the interaction campers have with the animals. Campers are given the opportunity to hold or pet almost every animal at the Demo Farm if they want to. Sometimes they are even given the opportunity to feed the goats.
A big thanks to Jessie for all her hard work this year. Everyone will miss her (especially all the animals) and she did such an awesome job at her program!
