Peggy Long has been an important part of the Camp ASCCA family since the 2000’s! She has worked as a summer camp nurse, as well as a volunteer nurse for many groups. Most recently she has served as a Camp ASCCA Board member. She is a faithful donor to Camp’s Endowment Fund and participated in the camp’s annual “Jingle Jump” fundraiser where she raised money for camperships by jumping into the freezing Camp pool! Her donations and donations made on behalf of her have reached well over $20,000! She has also introduced the Camp ASCCA program to dozens of friends. Through her generosity and show of love the campers and staff, “Nurse Peggy” is one of Camp’s all-time favorite people!
Located in Alabama on Lake Martin, Camp ASCCA offers campers a wide variety of traditional recreational and educational activities with a unique design for accessibility.
