Annual donor Rob Hunter has dedicated his time to Camp ASCCA way before his service on the Board of Directors in the late 2000’s. Mr. Hunter served as a summer camp counselor at Camp ASCCA in the 1980’s and has stayed connected ever since! He has served two consecutive three-year terms on the Board of Directors – serving as Chair of the Board for one of those terms in 2010-2012.
Along with his wife Susie, Mr. Hunter has contributed financially to Camp ASCCA as an individual and as a businessman. He has committed to the Endowment Fund and has encouraged many others to do so as well. He has made significant gifts to the annual Jingle Jump fundraiser, as well as making capital and memorial gifts. Additionally, he financially supported the early Camp ASCCA modern telecommunications systems and arranged and hosted a fundraiser in Daphne to benefit Camp ASCCA, which featured the work of a regional artist.
We are thankful to Mr. Hunter for his time and support. He remains an involved member of Camp ASCCA’s Advisory Board and his dedication and commitment to the Camp ASCCA mission and the campers that are served is appreciated. Mr. Hunter resides on the Eastern Shore in Baldwin County, Alabama and is a Co-Managing Partner of a Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Arkansas.
